Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 4, 2026. This policy is a detailed draft for our website and mobile products. Have it reviewed by qualified legal counsel before relying on it in production or app store submissions.
Logify (“we”, “us”, “our”) builds and publishes mobile applications. Today our public release is PassVault on Google Play (Android); we may add more apps and platforms over time. This Privacy Policy explains what information we may collect, how we use it, and the choices you have—whether you browse our site or use PassVault or future products.
Who this policy covers
This policy applies to visitors of our website and to users of mobile apps developed and distributed by Logify (including apps listed on the Apple App Store and Google Play). Some apps may show additional in-app disclosures or links to product-specific notices where practices differ.
Information we collect
The data we process depends on how you interact with us. We aim to collect only what is needed to run our services, fix issues, and improve our products.
Website
- Contact and support requests: information you type into forms (for example name, email address, topic, and message text).
- Technical and usage data: IP address, browser type, general location derived from IP, pages viewed, and referring URLs—often via cookies or similar technologies if you accept analytics on this site.
- Communications: records of email or other correspondence when you contact us.
Mobile applications (iOS & Android)
- Account and profile data: if an app offers sign-in or profiles, we may process identifiers you provide (such as email or a user ID) and preferences you save inside the app.
- Content you create or import: depending on the app, this may include text, files, habit or task entries, financial or health-related inputs, location you attach to content, or other data the product is designed to handle. We process such data to deliver the features you choose to use.
- Device and app diagnostics: device model, operating system version, app version, language, time zone, and crash or error logs to troubleshoot bugs and improve stability.
- Usage analytics: aggregated or pseudonymous events (for example screens viewed, feature usage, session length) to understand product performance and plan improvements—subject to your in-app or system settings where applicable.
- Permissions-based data: we only access sensors or OS features (camera, photo library, notifications, Bluetooth, health or fitness APIs, precise location, etc.) when the app requests permission and you grant it. The permission prompt explains the purpose; you can revoke access in device settings.
- Purchases and subscriptions: transaction identifiers and subscription status processed by Apple or Google; we do not receive your full payment card details.
- Advertising identifiers: if an app shows ads or uses ad-related SDKs, the platform may expose an advertising ID (IDFA on iOS, GAID on Android). You can limit ad tracking in system settings; some apps may offer in-app ad preferences.
Data from third parties and platforms
App stores (Apple, Google) share limited information with developers—such as download statistics, crash reports aggregated by the platform, and review content you choose to post publicly. We may use analytics, cloud hosting, email delivery, or customer-support tools that process data on our behalf under contract (processors).
How we use information
- Provide, maintain, and improve our website and mobile apps—including syncing data across your devices where a feature supports it.
- Respond to support requests, security incidents, and legal obligations.
- Send service-related messages (for example important updates about an app); marketing communications only where permitted and with a way to opt out.
- Monitor aggregate metrics, debug crashes, prevent abuse, and develop new features.
- Comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.
Sharing and disclosure
- Service providers: hosting, analytics, email, crash reporting, and similar vendors who assist our operations under strict confidentiality and data-processing terms.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, court order, or government request, or when we believe disclosure is necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of our services.
- Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may transfer as part of that transaction—we will notify you as required by law.
- With your direction: when you explicitly ask us to share information or connect a third-party integration the app supports.
International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms) compatible with applicable privacy laws.
How long we keep data
We retain information only as long as needed for the purposes above, unless a longer period is required by law. Account or app content may be deleted when you remove it in the app, delete your account where available, or ask us to erase data—subject to legitimate backup and legal retention needs. Aggregated analytics may be stored without identifying you.
Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the data—such as encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls, and vendor due diligence. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we encourage you to use device passcodes and keep apps updated.
Children
Our apps and site are not directed at children under the age where parental consent is required in your region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children for targeted marketing. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will take steps to delete it where appropriate.
Your choices and rights
- Access, correction, and deletion: depending on your location, you may have the right to request a copy of your personal data, correct inaccuracies, or ask us to delete data we hold—contact us using the email below.
- Opt out of marketing: use unsubscribe links in emails or in-app settings where provided.
- Cookies and tracking: manage preferences via our cookie banner on the website and via iOS/Android system settings for apps (including Limit Ad Tracking / personalized ads).
- Complaints: you may lodge a complaint with a data protection authority in your country.
App Store and Google Play
Each published app has a store listing that may include Apple’s “App Privacy” labels and Google Play’s “Data safety” section. Those disclosures summarize categories of data linked to you or used for tracking as defined by the platforms. This policy and the store listing should be read together; if anything conflicts, the more specific in-app or store disclosure for that product prevails for that product.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the “Last updated” date. For material changes affecting mobile apps, we may also notify you via in-app message, email, or store update notes where appropriate.
